STP 123 - Surgical Procedures I

Prerequisite(s): STP 122 and STP 127 and BIO 205 and BIO 206
This course is designed to introduce students into the clinical surgical procedures. Surgical anatomy of the body and instrumentation that pertains to the systems of study. Topics include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery and general surgery. Students are assigned a clinical site where they use the knowledge learned and apply it in the surgical setting.
